What we store

ChineseFlow stores your reading progress, saved vocabulary cards, tone-score counters and interface preferences in your browser (localStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you activate a license key.

When you activate a Pro license key, we send the key and a device label to Lemon Squeezy to verify it, and store a signed token in your browser. We do not store your name, email or payment details on our servers; Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and handles payment data under its own privacy policy.

Microphone audio used for tone scoring is analysed entirely on your device and is never uploaded.

Diagnostics

If the app crashes or a feature fails, a short error report (page URL, error message, browser type, timestamp) is sent to our logs so we can fix it. No audio, no text you typed, and no identifiers beyond your browser user-agent string are included. Feedback you submit through the Feedback button is stored with the page it was sent from.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. Vercel, our hosting provider, may process IP addresses in server logs for security.

Your rights

You can delete all locally stored data by clearing your browser storage for this site. To request deletion of diagnostics or feedback that may contain personal data, or to ask any privacy question, email support@wowitisken.me.

The service

ChineseFlow is a Mandarin learning web app with graded reading, pronunciation feedback and spaced-repetition review. Free features are provided as-is; Pro features are unlocked by a paid license (monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Founder Lifetime license) sold through Lemon Squeezy.

Tone scoring is an automated estimate for practice purposes and is not a certified assessment. Content is generated with AI assistance and reviewed by automated checks; report mistakes with the Feedback button.

Licenses

A Pro license may be activated on up to 3 devices. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your Lemon Squeezy customer portal; access ends at the end of the paid period. Lifetime licenses are valid for the lifetime of the ChineseFlow service.

You may not resell, share or scrape content, or attempt to bypass the paywall. We may suspend licenses used in breach of these terms.

Liability

The service is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim. Governing law: Taiwan (R.O.C.). Contact: support@wowitisken.me.

14-day refund

If ChineseFlow Pro is not for you, email support@wowitisken.me within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method.

Renewal payments can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal date if Pro features were not used in that period. Founder Lifetime licenses follow the same 14-day rule.

How to cancel

Cancel any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal link in your receipt email, or email us and we will cancel for you. Cancelling stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
